If you’re looking for somewhere to rest, this is a reasonable option. The location is good for getting off the main, busy route, though it’s not the best part of town. Rooms are very basic, maybe even a little below basic, but having a mini fridge and microwave is handy. Don’t expect anything fancy or upscale. The price is so-so, though it’s a lot less than a brand name hotel.

I had a pleasant two-night stay. It’s a budget inn, so keep your expectations there, but the room was fine. My mini fridge gave me trouble, and Patel at the front desk sorted it out. He also reimbursed me for chips that got stuck in the vending machine. I’d stay again and recommend it to anyone watching their budget.

The weekly rate was $480, the most I’ve come across for such a horrible hotel. Every room they offer is a smoking room, the bathrooms are dirty, and the rooms are awful. It costs more than a Motel 6 or Super 8, so the name Budget Inn feels like a rip-off. They need to sort this out. I don’t recommend staying here.

I’ve become a regular here because I love the place. The staff are friendly and always keen to help when I need something. The price is the best in the city, too. The only downside is availability: if you arrive late, there may be only two-bed rooms left. Still a great deal for the price.

Under the new management, the owners are polite and the housekeeping is very good. The place is clean, though the towels could be cleaner. When my microwave went out, they replaced it right away and didn’t question why.
