Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Elgin West Dundee

I AM Very impressed with the staff! My room location caused a few problems, but they moved me almost right away. The hotel was sold out and very busy on New Years Eve, yet they handled every request quickly and professionally. Cynthia, manager is Amazing!! Michael, her manager, too! Even the housekeeper showed up a day early. I loved it so much, I've rebooted my stay and joined the perks club!! I highly recommend The West Dundee Location of Extended Stay America. It's an enjoyable, very quiet experience, even on New Year's Eve!! I hope Cynthia gets a reward for Excellent service! This is my 3rd review because I’ve just settled into a new hotel without many things I brought to THIS!! Extended Stay Hotel. My heated vest, hair enhancement hat, face massager, and many personal hygiene products are missing. I believe housekeeping stole them. I had only asked for the bed to be made, the floors vacuumed, and towels in my kitchenette. Cynthia told me on Monday night, halfway through my already paid reservation, that housekeeping would come Wednesday. I think she noticed I’d left Tuesday, because they came into my room and rearranged everything that day. They went through every bag. I felt violated and wanted a refund for the whole stay. Other guests I spoke with had problems too and were leaving. Unlike me, they weren’t threatened with having the police called if they didn’t leave the next day. Management kept my money, so it was hard to find another hotel at a good rate. Cynthia may be a good manager, but after feeling violated, I got a bad vibe. If housekeeping goes through your bags, call the police yourself. Management will kick you out, keep your money, and tell you that you’re the only person with the problem after gaslighting you. In a long-term hotel, the staff and most guests know when you’re new. A few problems were handled well, but I’m still missing a lot of personal hygiene items. Pathetic. May the items curse the thieves, in Jesus Name Amen! Is what we say in the BOC. We let God handle it and ask for our money back for the entire stay. How rude! We pay so much money to stay somewhere safe overnight. In a wealthy American suburb, it’s unimaginable that housekeeping staff get away with ribbing guests here. We expect it in Nexico. West Dubdeee was a surprise. I’m waiting for over a week to hear back from corporate about reimbursing my stay, and I’m charging them for the missing items too.
