The National, Autograph Collection

We hardly had to drive anywhere, which made the location one of the best parts of the stay. The hotel is near the OKC arena where the Thunder play, with Bricktown right there too, plus a nice park and garden area for a walk. The property has a cool feel and impressive design throughout, especially the beautiful Grand Hall, which gives it a distinct character. Our room was very nice and comfortable, and the shower was a highlight. There was a slight vinegar-like cleaning smell, but it was minor. We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely come back.

The room was elegant, neat, and clean, with an excellent view, thanks to Joey and the staff. The food was excellent too, and breakfast was outstanding. Blake, our server, did a fantastic job and made our morning. We travel a lot and I’m very picky, but this was one of our best stays and we’ll be looking forward to coming back soon. The valet team did an excellent job. Carter, Joey Garcia the manager, and the front desk team were professional, kind, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help. Joe, our server at Stock and Bond restaurant, was above and beyond with his kindness and service. The room staff and housekeeping were excellent as well. Awesome stay, staff, and room. Thanks again.

The room was comfortable, though a little too full of furniture for my fairly Spartan taste. I liked the ground floor restaurant, and valet was simple to use. My one complaint was the shower seal letting water escape, which seemed more like a housekeeping issue. I tend to like Marriott's Autograph line more than some of its other brands, such as Ritz Carlton, and this stay lived up to that. One of the better hotels I've stayed in, and I'd gladly return if work brings me back to OKC.

We came to town for a birthday, and the staff made it feel special. There was champagne, cannoli, and a birthday card waiting in the room, which was a lovely welcome. The gym, restaurants, and status benefits were all great. A spa would have been the one thing I missed.
