Radisson Hotel Oklahoma City Airport

The staff were friendly, and otherwise things were fine, but the room had an unpleasant smell and wasn't very clean. There was greasy-looking grime on the curtains, as if someone had touched them with dirty hands, and the shower curtain looked dirty too. I paid for a king bed but got a full-size one in a handicap-accessible room. I can't tell whether I accidentally selected that room type when booking.

The beds were comfortable and seemed clean, but this shouldn't be your first choice. The area around the motel wasn't great. In the room, the door closer was missing parts and the deadbolt didn't work. The TV remote wouldn't control the TV, the ironing board had holes, and water backed up in the tub while I showered.

The rooms had a beautiful, modern glass-and-steel design with old-world wooden furnishings, and the service was outstanding. Breakfast was hot and tasty. THE HUB BAR is a local favorite with excellent entrees, appetizers, and desserts. A few things need attention. Please change the sheets instead of just remaking the bed. That's disgusting and against the law. The overnight bartender/chef got into several heated arguments with guests about whether they were allowed to eat breakfast. Guests shouldn't have to defend their right to eat it. Please explain this to the staff. It could have gone very badly if people hadn't kept their cool. The daytime shuttle driver also seems to need the last word, including in discussions he isn't part of. He talked a lot about which driving duties were or weren't his. Sounds like he needs a raise. Other than that, great job!

The shuttle was filthy inside and out, with bird droppings everywhere. Its Ford Transit had dents all over, a broken passenger sliding-door handle, and both the check-engine and tire-pressure lights on. The driver didn’t seem concerned about the vehicle or passenger safety. I brought breakfast along, and he said I could keep it with me but couldn’t eat it in the van, which made little sense given how dirty it was. When I arrived, my room wasn’t ready, so I had to wait for it to be cleaned. It still wasn’t clean: there were two blood stains between the pillows, dried gum beside the bed, dried saliva on the wall near the trash can and bathroom, and two scratch marks behind the entrance door. The curtain wasn’t attached to its pull rod, and paint across the shower was peeling. The towel shelf was warped and bulging from the shower moisture.
