Holiday Inn Hotel Stes North by IHG

The pool was open, though we didn’t use it. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. Our double queen room had enough space for my family overnight while traveling, and the room and linens were clean. The bathroom fan wasn’t working, so humidity wasn’t being drawn out during showers.

The front desk employee wasn’t at her post, and the maintenance man told me where she was. When I knocked on the office door, she said she was very busy and I’d have to wait. Her response said it all. She finally came out 16 minutes later, and by then I was hot. She charged my card for the room, and when I asked if she could speed up a little, she canceled my rooms and told me to leave. They clearly don’t want my business. I’ll write a letter to cooperate. DO NOT STAY HERE, THAT GIRL AT COUNTER IS EVIL!!!!

The breakfast was okay, and the man who took our order was friendly. He went to the kitchen to cook it and then served it to us. At checkout there was a friendly woman too. But when we arrived, the front desk woman’s customer service wasn’t great, the building was outdated, and the room smelled bad. We wanted to check out because of the room, but stayed the night since my son had a game and I didn’t want him to miss it. I wouldn’t recommend this location or stay here again. I hadn’t read the reviews before booking.

It was noisy, even though the room was okay and mostly clean. Workers outside my room were yelling at 5:15am, so I woke up and went to try the gym. I used three different keys, but it was locked each time despite being advertised as 24/7. I stayed one night and won’t return.
