The fire pits out front were a relaxing spot, especially with the lovely weather, and the pool and hot tub area were very clean. The cleaning staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is tucked off the main highway but close to plenty of places, so it’s easy to find your way around. I’d give it five stars if my friends hadn’t been stuck taking the stairs to the second floor, since there’s no elevator.

Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and Dwayne Miller really helped make the stay a good one. We had a reservation mixup, and he went out of his way to sort things out for us. Big thanks to him, he deserves the praise!

The vending machine by the front desk has a “cash only” sign, but that actually just means that’s where you put the cash. I think they should change the wording. Aside from that little confusion, we had a really good stay. The room was clean, breakfast was good, the location was great, and the price felt reasonable. We normally rent an Airbnb in Okoboji, but this was a last-minute trip and we couldn’t get a condo. I’d been worrying for no reason about staying in a hotel here. Justina at the front desk was so friendly and went above and beyond. My sister and I had a great time talking with her, and she knew a lot about town. I’d recommend staying here.

We were just passing through and needed somewhere for the night. The good reviews seemed deserved: our first-floor king room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we heard no road noise or sounds from above. Everyone we spoke with was kind and courteous. Breakfast was filling enough, though nothing fancy. I only noticed the burritos, omelets, and sausage in the fridge after we’d finished eating, so it would help if the fridge listed what was inside. When I asked about places to eat, we got a couple of suggestions, but they didn’t sound very sure, so we found our own spot. We’d stay again if we’re nearby. Check the fridge before you eat!

I’ve been here five times in the past two months, and the service has been incredible every time. The rooms are clean and the location is great. It’s a perfect place to stay.
