Shore Road Inn

The room was incredible, with the most comfortable bed, a perfect New England shore feel, modern appliances, and everything we needed. It and the property were as welcoming as Debbie. She was helpful, friendly, and accommodating from beginning to end. The inn had the small outdoor look we wanted. We booked just a week ahead for the July 4th weekend, and the price, accommodations, and proximity to all the activities we came for exceeded what we’d hoped. It was perfect, reasonable, and comfortable, and made our vacation extra special. Thank you, Debbie! We left a sea shell for you 😊

We stayed in room #11, which is beside the road, but it was delightfully quiet. The room was clean and neat, a good value, and had a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and fridge beside a tucked-away seating area. There’s no closet, and friends staying in another room had none either, though there are lots of storage drawers. There’s a large parking area. The small Inn has recently been acquired, and the owners have worked hard to update and refurbish every room. Call them and they’re delightful and eager to help. Recommend.

I needed a last-minute room for a wedding after the motel we’d booked turned out to be terrible. While I was at the wedding, the owner of Shore Road Inn responded by text late in the evening and was willing to book me a room. He said the property had recently been renovated, and we were blown away when we walked in. The floor was new and clean, and the modern furniture looked straight out of a catalog. The bathroom is a little small and dated, but that wasn’t a big deal. I can’t recommend the place enough compared with the motel we’d first walked into. It’s a great option for couples visiting the area who don’t need a full house rental and don’t want to pay for a pricey B&B or hotel.

Self check-in only works if the confirmation email has your booking details and room number. When it doesn’t, it would help to have the hotel’s phone number instead of a generator company’s. Watch out for Shore Road Inn to claim you trashed the rooms when you leave and charge extra cleaning fees. Don’t stay here.
