Our latest trip took us to the Stagecoach Inn in Lake Placid, a charming spot about four hours from New York and a five-minute drive from the town center. Kelly, the owner, greeted us warmly and clearly loves her distinctive four-room inn. She has an intimate bar and restaurant, decorated with thoughtful personal touches throughout. Our room was a lovely surprise, with a handwritten note from Kelly and fresh flowers that made us feel special. The bartenders make inventive drinks, and dinner felt special too, with nicely set tables and attentive wait staff. The background music suited the warm, inviting atmosphere. Kelly and her staff put care into creating a memorable experience for guests. We left feeling inspired and refreshed.

We spent two nights at the Stagecoach in February and had a really lovely time. The dinner was a highlight: superb food, excellent service, and a friendly proprietor who paid attention to everything. My wife and I would recommend it for a memorable, romantic Adirondack stay in a rustic setting.

We found it easy to relax at the Stagecoach Inn, with its Adirondack furnishings and cozy corners for cards, backgammon, or a cocktail. The staff were super friendly, and the food was outstanding. I had a delicious meal with my husband and business associates, with beautifully presented dishes focused on local cuisine. Lake Placid has plenty to do year-round, from hiking and biking in summer to skiing and Olympic sports in winter. A lovely place to unwind.

The food and drinks were 10/10, and the inn itself was so cozy and tastefully decorated. We were welcomed at the door with smiles and invited to look around. Our waitress was incredibly kind to our two children and went above and beyond all evening. We can't wait to return to The Stagecoach Inn!

Our wedding day at The Stagecoach Inn was everything we had hoped for, and we'll cherish it for the rest of our lives. The whole team created a beautiful, seamless setting and showed so much care with the details. Planning was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish, thanks especially to Kelly, who was patient, thoughtful, and kind from the first time we met.
