Atlantic Breeze Inn

I stayed here on my honeymoon. Being kind of close to the beach was nice, but the stay wasn't fun. The woman and man didn't tell us how much it would cost until we checked out. They said everything was included in our booking, then when we arrived they told us there was a $100 accidental fee. If they'd been honest about that on the phone, I would've been happy. It's nice, but if you're planning a week in Old Orchard, Maine, I'd save my money and stay somewhere else.

We loved the place. Our room was small and cute, but just enough for us, and it was clean. The person at the desk was extremely nice and helpful.

The service was good. My daughter was very sick, and I had to take her to a nearby hospital, so I couldn't stay over the weekend. The owner was willing to give me a refund, which was very nice. Thank you so much.

The location and water pressure were the only good parts. We stayed for a birthday weekend, and less than two minutes after arriving, my two-year-old found someone's blood pressure pill on the floor. That same night, my one-year-old put a hand down the shower drain because it wasn't screwed down. There were ants under the bed and on the carpet mat inside the door, and we woke to more in the corner of the room. Only two plugs worked. The walls and floors were clearly still uncleaned. The owner seemed nice at check-in, but the room felt neglected. It was not worth the price, more like a $25-a-night room than one costing $200+. It really dampened the birthday.
