Best Western Plus Olive Branch Hotel & Suites

I won’t be coming back after what happened with the general manager. The next morning, after I went outside to get my tea mug and came back in, she started questioning me about my room. I didn’t have a reservation myself; I had stayed with someone else, and I hadn’t asked their name because we were busy enjoying each other’s company. I didn’t pay much attention to the room number. I’ve never had to explain myself for being in a hotel like that. I’m white, and I felt she was treating me this way because of that. I wasn’t aware that having sex in a hotel wasn’t allowed. I called Best Western reservations and spoke with guest relations, but they couldn’t help because the reservation was under someone else’s name, and that person would need to call.

The front desk guy was very rude. I booked a room for my 21-year-old daughter, and the website didn’t say the age limit was 25. Another guest came up because their bed had no pillows and asked for some. He was rude to them too and said they didn’t have pillows.

The staff were helpful and really nice, and our room was clean. Breakfast was very good, with different options each day.

The manager was rude and disrespectful, and the pet policy was horrible. The room felt old and outdated and smelled moldy. The smoke detector beeped the whole time. I’ll never stay here again.
