Courtyard Olympia

I keep coming back when I’m in Olympia, and this has become my hotel of choice. Over the past two years, I’ve stayed here many times and it hasn’t let me down. The rooms are clean and roomy, the beds are comfortable, and the team has been kind on every visit.

The location worked well, and the front desk staff were friendly. The room had a stained top blanket when we arrived, uncomfortable beds, and awful pillows. There was also a strange chime bar in the shower. It doesn’t get hit during a normal shower, but can start chiming in the middle of the night when water drips onto it.

The rooms at this new hotel are large and clean, but the walls are paper thin. A noisy group kept making a racket until after midnight, and there didn’t seem to be any quiet hours. We got about six hours of sleep, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I had a great overnight stay. The morning cafe was good, although I felt for the one person handling both orders and the coffee and food with such a big Sunday crowd. She worked really hard and gave great service. The room was super comfortable, and Konrad at the front desk was especially friendly, helpful, and impressive.
