$170 felt like too much for what we got. The room itself was fine, but there was no TV, and the fridge was down in the lobby. The lobby had a Keurig but no tea, plus muffins of questionable age, granola bars, and instant oatmeal. This felt more like rented rooms than a hotel. We knew there wouldn’t be anyone at the front desk to greet us, but it seemed like no one was ever there.

We never needed a car since this charming old hotel is right in the middle of everything. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, though we rarely saw them. Check-in was self-service, and there’s no elevator. The stairs were fine for us, but three flights could be impossible for some people.

The quiet, comfortable setting made for a relaxing breakfast, and the service was spot on. Our French toast, eggs, and fruit were all perfect, and the coffee was freshly brewed and really good. Couldn't be happier.

The location was super, and getting there was easier than the reviews had led us to expect for Memorial Day weekend. Parking was no problem, and there was someone at the front desk each day we were there, just not around the clock. Our room was clean and cool.

We found parking without any trouble, and the room was adorable, clean, and quiet. There's a pub right across the street for drinks or food if you get hungry after 9pm. We'll be back.
