The room I had was much better than I expected for a cheaper hotel, and I actually felt comfortable there, which almost never happens for me. I was traveling with my then three-month-old, and I felt fine with the covers over her little legs. I'm a total clean and bug freak, so even a small mark on a wall usually makes me cringe, but this place was great. I loved the staff too. I'll post the room number if I remember it.

The beds were comfortable and I slept well. The older building seems to be maintained nicely. I haven't tried breakfast yet, though the indoor pool isn't open: it's locked, with chairs and other things stored in the room, and there's no sign explaining why. The staff could be more professional. When the housekeeper brought towels and washcloths, she didn't speak to my guests.

I had to wait a long time for a room and nobody explained why. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted with a hello or a smile; they asked for my ID and had me sign papers. The owner was helping staff clean a room to speed things up. Once I got in, I found roaches and caught a cricket in the bathroom. The phone didn't work, so I had to go to the lobby and speak through a window to ask for a Do Not Disturb sign. This motel was noisy and the service was bad. I'm glad I didn't spend my own money here. The five-star reviews are a bold-faced lie, and it's owned by an Indian family named Chanda.

The blackout curtains let in a lot of light around the sides and bottom, especially with the hallway light on 24/7. Even though I was in a smoke-free room, there was ash on the chair and table. The bathroom was tiny, and the curtain had mold on it. I wouldn't stay here again.

I was annoyed that the housekeeper came in while we were asleep despite our Do Not Disturb sign. People outside were also loud at 5:00 in the morning, coming and going, knocking, and talking. The room itself was nice, and the bed was very comfortable, though I found a couple of stains on the sheets and a piece of hair.
