Element by Marriott Opelika Auburn

Sydney and Erin were so friendly, kind, and helpful, and the service was great. Breakfast was delicious, and they even had a special tea time in the evening. The bed was comfortable, the shower products smelled nice, and the whole place felt really pleasant. We noticed a strong weed smell outside and in the elevator when we arrived, which seems to happen at every hotel we visit these days, but our room didn't smell of it at all. We stayed in November 2025, when the hotel was still very new. Everything was clean and well kept, and our room was spacious with nice amenities. A few things could be better: there wasn't an outlet in the bathroom for our hairdryer, the bathroom door caught on the threshold and wouldn't close fully, and I found the pillows too hard and thick, though they didn't bother my mom. We mentioned the door at checkout, and they said they'd look into it.

The room was kept immaculate by housekeeping, and the front desk staff treated me with real kindness and professionalism. Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and looked after. The property itself feels brand new, with spotless, modern spaces that seem thoughtfully put together. I enjoyed staying here so much that I'm already looking forward to returning. I'd recommend it to anyone who cares about cleanliness, comfort, and good service.

Getting to the AU campus for games was easy, and the parking seemed safe and secure. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's a new, modern hotel with a large, pleasant lobby and great rooms. They also offer complimentary breakfast, including eggs made to order.

Jignssha was fantastic. I needed to add a room for later in the week, and she took care of everything. The hotel is new and spotless. I work in sales and really appreciate great customer service, so I'll keep choosing this place because of the help I received.
