Heritage House

We ended up with a couple of peaceful, relaxing days here, and going early turned out to be the right call. The area was ready for the snowstorm, while nearby cities weren't. I had an appointment around there and chose to arrive ahead of an expected major storm rather than travel during it. A few days somewhere warm, cozy, and beautiful sounded like a good retreat anyway. The place is beautiful and well kept, the beds are soft, and the kitchen is in excellent shape. The building was warm and pleasant, and the food from 8 Sisters was great.

Kate and the other hosts were so helpful and kind. The historic house is beautiful and has been modernized really well. We adored the bakery where we had breakfast. When we told Kate our early flight meant we'd leave before breakfast, she kindly packed some for us to take along. The bed was very comfortable, and it was great to have WiFi. We'll stay again on our next visit.

The woodwork and decor are impressive, and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. It's a clean, homey place with rustic touches and modern, graceful country living. One of the top B&Bs in the area, and one of the nicest we've stayed in. Thanks for a lovely visit, Kate and Jeff!

We went to a meal after a funeral in the barn behind the beautiful house. It's a spacious room with all-wood beams and a ceiling that looked about forty feet high. It could work perfectly for groups of 50-60 people. The owners clearly knew what they wanted to create. The property is outside the quiet little town of Chesterville, a few miles from I-71 N/S.
