Heritage House Bed & Breakfast - Boutique Adults-Only Inn

Leif and Dani made our anniversary weekend one to remember. The house and rooms were wonderful, and the location was great. They also put together an amazing breakfast. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Opelika/Auburn!

The Heritage House is such a welcoming place to spend time, especially in its comfortable common areas. I had The Carriage Suite, the only room downstairs, and plan to return whenever I'm back in Opelika. It's a beautiful historic house right in the middle of town, with plenty of good restaurants and bars around it. The hosts are kind and hospitable, and breakfast was wonderful. We also appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks, plus the comfortable robes and bed sheets.

We ended up extending our stay because we were having such a good time. The historic downtown is only about a five-minute walk away, with nice shops, restaurants, and bars. We liked Cafe 123, Zazoos, and Botanic for food, and Angel's Antiques was a great shop to visit. The owners gave us helpful suggestions and had thought of the little things too, like water set up in the coffee pot and snacks and drinks in the room. We stayed in the spacious Carriage Suite, which has its own entrance and a sitting room. The home was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and my wife and I had a wonderful visit.

Heritage House is a real treasure in Opelika, AL. It's an old home now used as an inn, with elegant but cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast. The neighborhood is charming and easy to walk around, and historic Downtown Opelika is just a short stroll away. There is plenty of parking onsite. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Opelika.
