Days Inn Orange Park/Jacksonville

The price was great for a one-night stop on our way to Orlando, and the location seemed safe, next door to Cracker Barrel and Hampton Inn. It’s a basic, nice, clean hotel with kind staff. I checked in late, and Angel at the front desk was extremely pleasant. The GM was pleasant at checkout too. Please check the back door, though. It wasn’t locked when we came in.

I was in town for work and stayed three nights, then added one more night unexpectedly. I was moved to a different room, and it was just as clean as the first. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were all super friendly. It was quiet and comfortable, with lots of space out back for my truck and trailer. Diane and Karen were very nice. I’ll keep staying here when I’m working in Jax.

The staff were all friendly, efficient, and professional, and they said their manager has a real gift for leading and motivating people. The place was neat and clean. This was the first time we’d found a “budget” hotel that operated to “luxury” standards. We’d gladly stay again and again.

The location just off the interstate is handy, with several food and shopping options not far away. I come into town from Orlando regularly, and this is the hotel I choose each time because the rates are great and the rooms are always clean. I checked in very late on Friday 11/21 and met Angel, the nicest front desk team member I’ve ever encountered at any hotel. The little bag with men’s and women’s deodorant and water at check-in was a nice surprise.
