Days Inn by Wyndham Orange Anaheim

The room was dirty, with dark curly hair on the wall and what looked like pubic hairs on a towel. There was a spot of mold under the bathroom sink, the tub kept leaking, and the night lights didn't work. Traffic and noise from people in the rooms above kept all of us awake. It was the worst hotel stay we've ever had, and a waste of money. The staff member we spoke with barely spoke English, so we had trouble understanding her. Afterward, the hotel contacted me and I spoke with management. They were kind and addressed the issues. They said maintenance wasn't available then, but that they'd get the leak fixed and discuss cleanliness with housekeeping.

I love how private and safe I feel when I stay here, and it's handicap friendly, which matters a lot to me. The owners are really nice, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are so comfortable. There's food and coffee in the morning, and you can do a load of laundry if needed. This is by far my favorite place to stay in central Orange County. I love it!

The parking lot was cramped and hard to manage, and the rooms felt overpriced for what you get. There was only toast and yogurt at breakfast, so it was very limited. The rooms themselves weren't anything special, either. Getting there can be difficult depending on which direction you're coming from on Main Street. Our room door wouldn't close or lock properly, and it looked like someone had kicked it in more than once.

The location is close to restaurants, entertainment, and parks, but it's also nice and quiet. The continental breakfast runs from 7-9am, with pancakes, juice, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, cereal, and more. The staff are consistently courteous and professional. Eva always goes out of her way to make check-in and the stay go smoothly. She's one of the best hotel managers I've dealt with. We visit California often, and this is one of my favorite places to stay. Thanks, Eva, we'll see you next vacation! 😊
