The staff treated me well at check-in and check-out, and I can't put all the blame on housekeeping. This is a management and corporate greed problem. I've worked in hospitality for quite some time, and this was one of the most outdated, dirty, unpleasant stays I've had in a long time. I won't come back unless the place is renovated and management steps up. I don't know what could make up for this stay. I found trash, bottle caps, and wrappers under the couch and under the nightstand, along with a dirty reusable knife under the couch. Towels and curtains had stains, and one towel had a hole. The room felt unsafe, more like a shack than a hotel. The table and chair were so wobbly I wouldn't use them for work. The heat was turned up all the way, but the room still felt like it was 60 or 55 degrees. The “queen” bed was actually two double mattresses pushed together under a queen-size cover. I dropped my charger and found the knife when I looked under the couch. There are no phones in the rooms, and by the time I'd found my room, which felt like it was in another zip code, I didn't want to walk back to get help. After the day I'd had, by the time I got “settled in,” I felt only half comfortable, maybe less. Someone was vacuuming close to midnight, but I was too tired to get up. I understand that a last-minute booking through the hotel or a third party means you get what's available, but this was unacceptable. The photos show what I found.

We had to change rooms more than five times because each had major problems. The last one still had dirty sheets, and when I asked for clean ones and towels, the front desk said none were available because there was no housekeeping. There was no room service for three days, either. We stayed four nights, and the place was run-down, unsafe, and unsanitary. There were rats and roaches. The carpets were filthy, there was mold on the walls, and the shower curtain and window curtains were stained. The furniture was dusty, old, and broken down. The room had no phone to call the desk, and the fridge didn't work. Microwaves were listed as an amenity, but none in the rooms worked, so we had to go up and down the stairs to use a dirty shared microwave. The front desk service was awful. One employee was asleep in the back, seemed irritated when approached, and was rude and unhelpful. Anyone could walk in and out. Once, the front desk bell had been removed, so there was no way to get help while staff were unavailable or asleep. Don't trust the website photos. They look like they were taken when the property was a Holiday Inn. The current owner bought it in 2021 and clearly hasn't maintained or renovated it since. I have more to say than I could fit here. Please don't stay. I'm shocked it's still operating, and I'll attach photos showing the conditions.

The room smelled like old smoke, as if people had been smoking in it for years. The shower was filthy, especially the towel they gave me, and the front desk couldn't help with what I needed. I changed rooms three times because they were so dirty. The side doors had no security, so anyone could get in without an access card. I didn't feel safe there at all. This was the nastiest hotel I've been to, and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. It needs to be shut down.

The website pictures and lobby looked great, but they were misleading. Our room was filthy, with stains everywhere, and we spotted a bug on the sheet. The room looked and felt dirty, and roach powder in the heat/AC unit was blowing into the air. Absolutely horrible and frightening. We lasted about 15 minutes before leaving, even though they wouldn't refund us anyway. We called Priceline back, and they gaslit my girlfriend and me. It seemed like they might refund us, but they kept us on hold forever. That feels like Priceline's tactic for making people give up, and they even asked if we were going to leave a review. I wonder why. We left at 2am, exhausted, but couldn't stay in that dirty hotel. Never setting foot in there again. Eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwweww. Read the reviews first!

The place looked so old that I'd believe it had been abandoned in 1970 and reopened yesterday. It was dirty and run-down, and I would avoid it if possible. We needed somewhere to get in late and leave early to avoid a 4AM drive, and the other hotels cost more than twice as much. Looking back, I'd gladly have paid the extra. The beds were awful, more like box springs. There were only three outlets, and some didn't work. Moving furniture to reach them revealed more grime. The TV was broken. For four people, we got three pillows and two towels, no hand towels or washcloths, and only a tiny bit of face soap, about the size of a quarter. The inside back doors had no locks and opened freely. There was zero security.
