The Skybar was nice, but it couldn't make up for how stressful and poorly handled the rest of my stay was. On the morning I left, I was ready for my flight when staff said my car key had been misplaced and needed to be fetched from somewhere else. I waited outside under a lot of stress, then the valet manager said he had actually had my key all along. It turned out to be a communication problem. When I told security and the front desk what had happened, they said the hotel wouldn't compensate me if I missed my flight. I made it, but only narrowly, and their response showed little concern for the situation their staff had caused. I paid $750 for three nights, a $150-per-night deposit ($450 total), and $30 per night for valet, bringing the total to $1,290. I was told the deposit could take up to 7 days to return to my card. For those rates, I expected better value and more professionalism. The room wasn't properly cleaned, and the floors looked poorly maintained. There was no microwave or snacks, and the only complimentary item was one tiny bottle of water. The bathroom hand shower was faulty too, spraying from the side of the wand and making it hard to use. Between the cleanliness, maintenance, high charges, slow deposit return, poor communication, and dismissive staff response, the stay felt overrated and frustrating. Management needs to address these service problems.

The room was roomy and clean, and getting to downtown or the Kia Center was easy, just a quick walk. It had a small fridge. Breakfast and parking cost extra, though there’s an on-site garage that's convenient at $28 a day.

We liked the clean, quiet room and the easy walk to the KIA Center. We didn't hear the road noise other reviewers mentioned. The parking exit was the problem. An employee said the card reader was down, so we had to pay him. Then he wanted to photograph my driver's license, saying only that it was his protocol when I asked why. I refused a few times, and eventually he let me pay and leave without it. The whole thing felt unsafe and like it could be a scam. I don't think I'll stay here again.

I liked the room and the 18th-floor bar, but the traffic noise made it hard to sleep. It was constant and louder than at other hotels I've stayed in near major highways. The hotel gave me a noise machine and earplugs, which was thoughtful, but neither helped much. I don't know whether rooms on the other side avoid the road noise, so I'd suggest asking for one away from traffic. For my one-night visit, the room was clean, modern, and nicely designed, and the service and atmosphere were good. The bar had a fantastic view and was a nice place to unwind. I struggled to choose a rating for the categories because the noise was such a major issue, even though the hotel itself was lovely.

What a joke. If I could give zero stars, I would. They charged our card for over $400 even though they had emailed me a receipt saying it was confirmed and paid, and we hadn't asked them to use that card. We were told the money would be refunded within 24 hours, but it's been two days since checkout and we're still waiting. The room was noisy from the Skybar speakers, the air conditioning didn't work properly, and the TV had a dark line through it. We set the AC to 66, but the room stayed at 72 the whole time. Staff said it would take a few hours to change, but nothing improved. And the bathroom door didn't even have a lock.
