The staff were really nice, and the rooms were quiet. It also felt calmer than the Disney area, which I liked. The lobby restaurant and bar could use an update. For an Autograph hotel, I expected a proper espresso machine, not a button that dispenses Starbucks, and the food could be better too. Given the area, though, it was okay. A good hotel overall.

The roof has a beautiful sunset view, and Cafe TuTu Tango next door is a great dinner option. We’ve stayed here a few times, and this last visit made me want to finally leave a review. We called in advance and they kindly let us check in as early as 10 a.m. The room was clean and comfortable. Perfect stay!

My mom and I used to come here all the time in the '90s, and I wanted my kids to see that fairytale feel with the dragons at the entrance. But so much had changed that the atmosphere was gone, and I was really disappointed. I changed my mind and didn’t stay, and I still haven’t been back. I don’t understand why it’s still called the Castle Hotel. They may as well change the name.

I paid $792 for two nights, which was ridiculous. For that price I could have stayed at the JW. I’ve been a Hilton Diamond member for a long time, and I wish I’d booked the Hilton down the road. I’ve stayed at several Autograph hotels and usually enjoy their history and distinctive character, but this one was nowhere near the others I’ve tried. There aren’t many Marriott properties on iDrive, but I’d still recommend staying somewhere else.

Joe at the door was great. He gave us a coupon for howl at the moon, then another one for hash house the next morning. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back. The pool was nice too, though the drinks were overpriced.
