Countryside Inn & Suites Orlando

I only wanted somewhere safe to sleep rather than risk driving while tired, but I couldn't sleep there. I arrived at 1am, extremely sleepy, and paid for the room but was told I couldn't get a refund. I tried to extend my stay to get some rest and was allowed to stay until 11:50, but I still couldn't sleep and just sat up. I have a rash on my arm and will send them the bill for urgent care. I'll attach photos and videos. Pure carelessness. The night shift worker was very helpful, though I wish I had gotten his name. In the first room, an inchworm got on my arm. I have a panic disorder, and he removed it and switched my room. The second room was full of roaches and mold. I called and spoke to a woman who said she wasn't the manager, but when I called again, a second woman said the first one was the manager. Very irresponsible.

I've been here nearly six months. What first caught my attention was a sign advertising a studio apartment for 999.00, but the rooms actually cost 526.00 a week. It wasn't worth it. The walls were dirty, and the porch smelled like pee no matter what I tried. There are roaches everywhere, for real. Something that looked like a rat chewed through both rugs I put in the small kitchen. They reimbursed me for them, which was pretty decent. After about five months in a studio, I moved into a regular room and like it much better. I'm saving 200 a week now, and the room is better. I'm just mad I didn't switch sooner.

There were cockroaches, and no garbage containers. The kitchen had a full-size refrigerator that worked, and the AC worked great. The bed was okay for one night.

I've been here nearly six months and have really enjoyed my stay. Mandy is an amazing manager who cares about her guests. The security and maintenance staff are amazing too.
