The suites themselves were great, and the pool and bar and restaurant staff were also great. Housekeeping was the problem during our six-night stay. At check-in, I was told the room would be tidied, with beds made, towels replaced, and garbage removed, and that there’d be one full cleaning on Saturday. It was tidied after the first night, then nothing more. I texted staff on Saturday before dinner because the full cleaning hadn’t happened, and asked if they could at least bring toilet paper, towels, and detergent. We came back to find the supplies in a large bag on the dining table. The trash, linens, and used towels were still there. On our last night, I called because I couldn’t take the towels and garbage sitting around any longer. I said I’d leave them outside, and they were picked up right away. I was with three other people who had booked suites. Two had their rooms serviced every day, and another had service on three of the six nights. That made my experience especially frustrating.

The golf cart drivers went too fast through the parking lot, which felt a bit unsafe, and one room’s TV didn’t work. Those were the main issues. Otherwise, the hotel was comfortable, our stay went well, and it mostly met our expectations. We’d consider coming back.

Having a washer and dryer in the room was a big plus, and the pools, hot tubs, and gym were all well maintained. Everything was clean, and everyone we met was welcoming and friendly. The location is especially convenient, with a Publix across the street and a gate leading directly to the outlet malls. I’m an HGV Club owner and have stayed at several Orlando properties. Tuscan Villas is one of the better ones. Highly recommend.

The best parts were the staff, the location, and some of the resort facilities. Everyone we met, including the people at the timeshare presentation, was outstanding, and they didn’t pressure us as much as we expected. The property is close to I-drive, attractions, a grocery store, and the premium brand outlet mall. There’s a lake and walking path, outdoor grills and seating at the main buildings, a small media center with free flavored water, a video game room and pool table, and a fitness center with lots of new equipment, though it was dirty. The pool area had a medium-sized pool, a Jacuzzi, a smaller pool with a lift, and an adult pool that was full of children, plus another Jacuzzi. There was also a small grill and bakery and a basic bar menu. The room we got with the discounted timeshare presentation wasn’t the nicest, despite having a full kitchen, minus salt and pepper. The fridge was dented, the living and dining area looked onto a building’s utilities, and the dining light seemed ready to fall. The bed was comfortable, but the soft feather pillows gave no support. We slept fairly well. The bedroom had a large TV and a fantastic hot tub, and the bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The washer and dryer broke and had to be replaced late at night before checkout. They gave us an extra hour so we could do laundry in the morning, but the appliances were left too far out to close the doors. A dresser drawer kept opening, so we wedged paper in it and couldn’t use it. The stove had no indicators, and when we asked how it worked, we were told it went both ways, which was wrong. Low was on the left and high on the right. There was coffee but no tea, and each time we asked for coffee, they brought 20 sugar packets we didn’t use. The toilet seat was broken and needed an engineer to replace it, and the outlet by the bed didn’t work. The room looked clean at a glance, but the floor turned our white socks black within minutes. It was dated and needed renovation. It didn’t feel like a room suited to someone being asked to spend $65,000.
