Holiday Inn Express Orlando – South Park by IHG

The location is hard to beat: the parks are within 20 minutes, Epic is just half a mile away, and there are gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. Breakfast had a decent range, including plenty of protein choices and other tasty things. The staff went out of their way to help with my needs, and if you meet Farah, you’ll be delighted. She’s the best! The rooms were immaculate, and the hotel is very clean and well kept. If you're choosing between this place and another, I’d pick this one.

I always enjoy staying at this Holiday Inn because the staff are so nice. Farah helped me with a room upgrade and the loyalty program this time. She greets everyone who walks in, which is great customer service. I hope she’s there the next time I visit!

Being so close to Universal Studios was handy, and I liked the roomy space, comfortable bed, friendly staff, and range of breakfast choices. But I could clearly hear the neighbors talking through the walls, as if they were right in my room. The shower never got hot, even after I let the water run for a while, so I shivered through it. A warm shower is a reasonable thing to expect. With both problems, I wouldn’t stay here again.

We were only about a five-minute drive from Epic Universe, which made this a convenient place to stay for our visit. My husband and I arrived in the morning expecting to leave our bags and wait until the afternoon for a room. Farah at the front desk was wonderful and helpful, and managed to find us a room right away so we could settle in before going to the park. We’ll definitely stay here again.
