We stayed five nights for the runDisney event and mostly had a positive experience. The price, location, and front desk staff were all excellent, and the staff did a great job. The mornings were the hard part. Every day, maintenance seemed to be right outside our door, pressure washing floors, using leaf blowers, repairing pipes, or knocking to bring towels. I understand they have a job to do, but it would’ve been much better to schedule this work later, around noon. If you want a quiet morning, I recommend asking for a room on a higher floor. The building in the photo looks like it might be more peaceful.

After a day at Disney Springs, I booked a hotel room for myself for the first time. The staff were really friendly, and I asked for a room without carpet. There were spiders and ants, though it was on the ground floor, so I figured that might happen. We checked the sheets as soon as we got in because I’d seen a couple of reviews mentioning bedbugs and cleanliness, and they were just so dirty. It wasn’t the worst place, and I’d stay again if I really needed to.

The location works well for Disney or Universal, with outlets, restaurants, and a Disney souvenir shop nearby. The room was clean and roomy enough, and the pools were clean too. Even on a cloudy day, the water wasn’t cold. The hotel restaurant did good pizza and nachos, but the cocktails were pretty bad. I wouldn’t suggest the breakfast buffet: Mickey Mouse waffles were the one good thing, and there are better choices nearby for the same price or less. The shuttle service wasn’t all that useful during my week there, since it mainly offered rides to Universal.

The price made me hesitate at first, but the reviews and our stay both put me at ease. My best friend and I spent two days at Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista for a girls’ getaway, and it turned out to be a great fit for a fun, easy trip. We felt safe there, the hotel was clean, and the staff were so welcoming. Getting around was simple too. Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom were both about 10 minutes away. For the affordable rate, it was better than we expected, and we’d happily come back for another girls’ trip or a casual Orlando stay.

The restaurant and bar serve really good food, and there’s a daily 5-7 happy hour with buy-one-get-one wine and beer. We found the parking good, and the hotel has shuttles to the parks. It’s a family friendly place with clean rooms and great rates. We’ll definitely stay again.
