The Enclave Hotel and Suites

We stayed on May 1st, 2026. It looked cute and updated at first, but after dark we found German cockroaches in all sizes. We booked through Airbnb through Emma, in Building 3, unit 3304. The place is infested.

The laundry setup made this stay unacceptable. There are just four washers and four dryers for a ten-floor hotel and suite property. We were visiting local theme parks with family over the holiday and spent time searching around the building for a machine. Over several days, at every hour we tried, not one washer or dryer was free. They were running or still had someone’s things inside. Management should make sure laundry gets collected when a cycle ends if they aren’t going to add enough machines. The website also advertises shuttles, but the booking link led to a missing page and staff at the desk said there was no theme park shuttle. It also lists a marketplace café open until midnight, but we never saw it open during our stay. We won’t make this our first choice next time.

We had already driven four hours toward Orlando when it became clear our Expedia booking at JS Luxury was being handled entirely online, with no front desk or on-site help, although the listing had made it seem like a normal hotel. We’d paid the required cleaning fee and completed the online steps, then our stay was cancelled while we were on the road. We got there around 10:30 PM, before the stated midnight check-in cutoff, and tried to sort it out. The response focused on Expedia having our money, with no flexibility, clear explanation, or real effort to get us checked in. Support was also hard to reach. The listed number went to voicemail or was answered and hung up, and the Enclave reservation line went to voicemail without calling back. It was late, we were stranded in Orlando, and we’d already paid close to $600 with no guarantee we’d get it back. The trip was ruined. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but families should know about this. The cancellation right after payment and lack of communication felt frustrating and disappointing, and could have been handled much more professionally with some basic concern for people who’d travelled so far. Check carefully that you’re not booking a third-party managed unit and assuming it works like a regular hotel.

We booked through Airbnb, and the room we got was decent because it had been updated. The hotel rooms are really old, though. These are privately owned hotel rooms that have been turned into condos, and there’s no front desk staff anymore, security, or restaurant. The balcony also offered no privacy at all, you could see straight into everyone’s rooms. We stay because it’s close to everything.
