Chateau Mar Beach Resort

The only thing I’d change is the shower. The inside bottom edges could use some bleach. Otherwise, the room was better than I expected, with clean, comfortable sheets, a good-sized flat-screen TV, an apartment-sized fridge, microwave, small coffee maker, and laminate floors. No odd smells, and the AC was freezing. It’s a well-kept hotel right on the beach, and the check-in was quick and easy. The woman at the desk was very nice. It was windy, so I skipped the pool, but it looked spotless and had seating close to the rooms. Parking was great, with no weirdos hanging around, and there’s an elevator if you need one. It’s pet-friendly, too. I’d definitely stay again.

The location is a big plus, with the property opening straight onto the beach, plus a nice little pool and lounge area. Even during renovations in October 2025, when some rooms were unavailable, it was a fantastic place for a fair price. The staff were stellar, and I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area. They kindly moved us into two adjoining rooms when the two-bedroom room we’d booked was being renovated. There was some wear on a few furnishings that hadn’t been replaced yet, but the rooms were lovely and surprisingly well equipped: full-size fridges, large modern TVs, walk-in showers, and a full kitchen with new equipment in some rooms. The kitchen had basic appliances and dishes, better stocked than many extended-stay hotels. The beds were divine. I haven’t slept that well in a while.

We’ve been vacationing at the Chateau for six years and love it. The staff have gone out of their way to help us, and the pool and beach are the best. We’ve stayed on just about every floor by now. The rooms and rates are great, too.

The staff have been friendly and gone above and beyond to help with anything. I’ve been here almost a week and have stayed in two different rooms, both clean and comfortable, with no bugs. The beds are super comfortable, and full-size fridges make it easy to buy and store food. For the price, this is the best hotel on the beach. It’s quiet, all the rooms face the ocean, and the pool area is beautiful, with the beach just steps away. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area.
