The unit was clean, the location was convenient, and the beach was beautiful. It was a decent stay, though there are lots of similar resorts along the strip, so there are plenty of choices. Parking was the biggest problem. A unit advertised for six people gets only one parking space. I had to pay $20 a day to park in a garage three miles away. I arrived at 9pm and counted more than 20 empty spots. There were always at least 10 spaces open, so I wish the resort had let me park there for the night for safety, then move my car to the garage in the morning. They could mark one space for each unit and leave a few extras for guests who need another spot. The front desk person's customer service was lacking. I only dealt with that one person, so it may not represent the whole staff. He wasn't exactly rude, but he wasn't helpful or friendly either. Overall, the stay was okay, but I wanted to mention these drawbacks so other guests aren't caught by surprise.

Waking up to the sound of ocean waves and seeing the sunrise from our room made the trip unforgettable. We came from Northern California for a Christmas getaway, and the hotel met all our expectations, with warm weather, beautiful views, and a spot right beside the beach. The pool was temporarily closed for construction, but the hotel arranged for us to use nearby pools and gyms. Getting to the beach was easy, and water sports were just a few steps away.

I've owned a ro here since 2016. It's in a great spot, and having the Beach Bucket right next door is so convenient. I still love the place and hope the upkeep improves, because it's gone downhill over the years. I had a few problems in my room this year, but they were prompt about taking care of them. The whole staff is always polite and helpful.

This is the best value in the Daytona area. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's lots for families to do on weekdays. The pool and beach access are right out the back door, and the city park next door is really nice.

We're thoroughly enjoying our stay at Ocean East. The units are clean and well appointed, the staff are friendly and accommodating, and there are plenty of daily events if you want to stay on site. The pool and hot tub are great. Nothing negative to say.
