Island View Resort

Brett and Alaine, who own Island View resort, did everything they could to make our vacation special. The dock helpers, Gavin and Aaron, were attentive too, and we made so many memories. We had excellent fishing: Blue Gill, Crappie, Large and Small Mouth Bass, and Northern Pike, along with plenty of exciting stories. The beach was nice, and the Lodge had coffee, ice cream, and delicious homemade scones. This was a lucky find for me. My Dad used to bring us to Pelican lake to camp and fish when I was a kid, and I have such fond memories of those trips. More than 30 years later, I came back with my kids and Dad. The resort and lake didn't disappoint. Our cabin was clean and had spectacular lake views. I highly recommend Island View resort and Pelican lake.

The fish were healthy-looking, clean, and tasty, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. We had great views and could really relax. We've now stayed here three times and love it every time. On our first visit, from 9/11/20 to 9/19/20, my boyfriend Brian and I found the place incredibly clean, the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The staff were friendly, helpful, and lovely. We rented a pontoon for the week and had no problems. They kept topping off the gas, which was great on a lake that size. Can't wait to return.

We were staying elsewhere on the lake and came by boat for coffee and ice cream. The owners were so kind and helpful. My affogato was amazing, and we're definitely considering a stay there next summer.

A lovely little resort on Pelican Lake, with cabins close to the water and a great location. Management was very helpful, and the fishing boats for rent looked to be high quality.
