The bar and grill staff are the friendliest, and the food has been great. Chris welcomes you warmly at the front door and works hard to make your stay 100 percent. Lori at the front desk is just as welcoming, funny, and personable, and she starts your day off feeling good. This is our must-go place when we visit the lake. Five stars all the way around.

Chris is amazing, always quick to help with a friendly smile, and Kai is the sweetest. She makes the best sweet tea, literally the very best. Stan's Bistro is a sure bet too, with a great breakfast buffet and my favorite club sandwich around, made by Mark, the chef. The people here take pride in their work and really look after guests. I've stayed at the Inn at Grand Glaize many times over the past five years, often in the same room, and it feels like a home away from home. There's been a lot of updating, with more going on now: new beds and bedding, furniture, paint, and flooring throughout. We found them really comfortable last weekend, and our room is always clean. The pool is one of my favorite features. I just hope they update the walkway out front and around it soon.

The service was nice, though I could've used a little more information. We had reserved a king room but ended up with two queens. The room was clean and, thank God, bug-free. We didn't use the pool, but tried the hot tub and sauna. The tub smelled funky, though it was nice, and could use a makeover: there were rusty nails and such. The sauna door wouldn't close, its light was burnt out, and it looked like someone had smoked there and left cigarette butts. The bathrooms in that area were gross and their doors wouldn't shut. The beds were just alright. After driving more than 10 hours, I expected better quality since I wasn't just looking for a cheap place to sleep.

Our room was pretty okay, and I loved having a balcony, though the place definitely needs updating. Then we met CHRIS. I'd read about him in the reviews, and he really lives up to the hype. That guy was a whole vibe, 10/10 stars. Thanks, chris!

The room was clean, and the maintenance guy went above and beyond to get our TV working after it failed. Breakfast wasn't available as the website said it would be. The hotel is pretty dated, the elevator was dirty, and the first-floor hall had a strong Marijuana smell, apparently from someone smoking in a "non-smoking" room.
