Bentley's Boutique Hotel, BW Premier Collection

The people here made the five days feel like home. Doreen, Renee, Ashley, Kelly and Chef were terrific every day, whether cooking, hosting or serving, and Mo the manager kept the hotel staff attentive. Nicole, Nan, Luda and Benjamin were also wonderful, both professional and friendly. Any request I made was happily taken care of. I loved the heated pool and the rum punch, and Chef Rolf’s restaurant was delicious. The resort itself was great, and the location worked well for visiting both Venice and Sarasota. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby too. I had a great stay and can't wait to come back next year.

Dana was so helpful and lovely to work with, and Chef Rolf was kind and accommodating. The whole team went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend special. The rooms were great, and my guests loved the resort. If you're planning a beautiful beach ceremony, I'd absolutely recommend it. We'll be back for staycations. We had a great stay, thank you! The hotel has its own private beach, with a shuttle to get there, and the beachfront is well kept with all the amenities you'll need. After the major renovation, the rooms are bright and clean. The restaurant was good, and the staff were really friendly and focused on service. A hidden gem.

The noise made sleep almost impossible. The walls are paper thin, the doors don't fit their frames and slam hard, and there's constant sound from the parking lot. On top of that, highway construction was going on at night. Someone even came through in the middle of the night and did donuts on a motorbike in the lot. This doesn't feel like a resort at all. It's a roadside motel facing a parking lot, with rooms opening right onto the lot and highway. There's no privacy, atmosphere, security, gates or controlled access, and no spa. The photos look heavily rendered. We paid extra for a “deluxe” room, but it felt just like a standard one. The sink was leaking when we arrived, and the TV remote was falling apart and had no working batteries. If you're expecting a resort stay, look elsewhere. This is an overpriced, noisy roadside motel.
