Selam at the front desk found us a lovely suite, and we liked it so much that we asked to book it for the next night too. Jana and Salam both went out of their way to make that work. I was so happy I hugged them! The room was clean and comfortable, every detail seemed covered, and breakfast was delicious. Selam was so sweet, and both ladies made our stay feel perfect. I can’t say enough good things about them. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone needing a hotel in the KC Area. Thank you, ladies, you rock!

Our 2-bed, 2-bath suite was quiet throughout the stay, with comfortable beds and lots of pillows. The ceiling fans were a nice surprise, and the elevators were quick and never crowded. We also had plenty of parking and kept a good spot the whole time. Checking in online and choosing our room was easy. The two bedrooms weren’t the same size, and the smaller one could use some décor, maybe a picture to make it cozier. The Wednesday reception with light snacks, wine, and spirits was a nice touch. Breakfast was fine, with eggs, meat, and potatoes, though no waffles. The overnight oats and chia pudding were especially good. The location was convenient for everything we needed in Kansas, generally within about 20 minutes.

The staff were pleasant, the room was clean, and breakfast was a highlight, especially the breakfast tacos. My family and I had a great stay at the Homewood Suites in Kansas City/Overland Park. They also kept shoveling and salting the sidewalks throughout the snowfall. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

We had a two-bedroom, two-bath suite, but my kid found a mess in her bathroom, so it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The property wasn’t bad overall, though it felt like it was being run by someone’s teenage kids, and the staff seemed poorly trained. When we asked about the EV charger, they knew nothing about it. We were also told there was no hot cocoa, even though we found it at the coffee station just three feet away. The next day, an amenity advertised in several places as available until midnight was already unavailable at 11:50 because of the computer program. Staff seemed confused when I asked for help and said I’d have to talk to a manager the next day.

We love staying at this Homewood Suites when we visit Overland Park. It’s comfortable and close to everything, and the breakfast is much better than at most hotels. There’s a great range of choices, including chicken carnitas with lots of toppings, oatmeal, overnight oats with plenty of toppings, and plenty more. We love it!
