TownePlace Suites by Marriott Owensboro

I usually stay here for business and have always had a wonderful experience. Customer service is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and there’s a good breakfast spread. I appreciate the variety and how the menu changes each day. The gym is small but adequate, and there are plenty of outdoor lounge areas to hang out in. It’s close to restaurants, grocery stores, a movie theater, and shopping.

Update 3/10/26: laundry prices have come down to $3 to wash and $2 to dry. Thanks! My earlier downside was how expensive it was, $4 to wash and $3 to dry, for machines that were just the standard size we usually find for $1-2. Otherwise, the staff and breakfast are great. The hotel is about five years old, clean, and has comfortable rooms. The kitchenette’s full-size fridge is appreciated on a long stay, and the outdoor seating, grills, and gym are nice. It’s in a growing new area with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Coming off the interstate, turn right at the light instead of left. Google Maps may try to send you a mile away from the hotel. It’s in a great location with plenty nearby, and the rooms are clean with great service. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

The bed was comfortable and clean, and the room looked clean when we arrived. We stayed for a couple of days without any real trouble, though the deadbolt wouldn't turn. Maintenance couldn't fix it, but said we could change rooms if we wanted. He assured us the room was secure. It was a pleasant stay.
