Hampton Inn Oxford/Miami University Area

After a tiring drive and a full day of college move-in, we got to the hotel and discovered I had no reservation. I’d been booked in Oxford, Maine instead of Oxford, Ohio. Karen and Lynda were absolute Rockstars. They helped clean a room someone had left early so it could be resold to me. I’ve worked in this business for many years, and I was impressed by how quickly they acted and what they did to make things right. The hotel was clean and the staff were great.

My wife and I have stayed in 16+ different hotels during our travels over the last 6 months. This was easily the cleanest, and it seemed really well maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We visited relatives who were staying at other local hotels, and those places definitely didn’t compare.

Just a typical Hampton, no issues. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast at Hampton’s has gone downhill, though that seems to be true across all the Hampton’s. They need to bring back the egg omelets instead of serving those reconstituted, watery eggs.

Breakfast was great, and the facilities were clean. The staff were friendly, and the other guests seemed comfortable. Nobody was smoking weed in the parking lot, either. I had a great stay.
