The lobby has comfortable spots to sit with a book or a glass of boxed wine, and the room entrances are nicely presented along the wide hallways. We had a wonderful visit at this historic hotel. It's in a fantastic spot, with shops, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean.

The lobby staff were so friendly and happy to help, and an attendant quickly sorted out the plumbing problem we had. The hotel looks beautiful from outside and in the lobby, and it's ideally placed for local shoppes, restaurants, and the MU campus. But housekeeping never came to our room during the stay. With those issues and the cost, I'm not sure I'd stay again.

The rooms are nice and the lobby is beautiful, with a great central location downtown. My only complaint is the noise in rooms facing the alley. A garbage truck was outside my window around 6 every morning.

Right downtown, so you can walk to most places. The rooms were typical, and front desk service was quick and efficient.

I stayed with my daughter for mom's weekend, 4/1-4/3. The hotel was nice, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Check-in was easy, and the Friday and Saturday desk staff were awesome. Sunday checkout was a different story. The front desk person was rude when I politely asked if there was more coffee because it was empty. She snapped that there wasn't any and told me to go somewhere else.
