Baymont Inn & Suites Ozark

It’s not a world-class hotel, but it made a really nice overnight stop, and I’ve marked it as a favorite for another trip this way. The room seemed recently remodeled, and even though the hotel is near a major road, I had a quiet night. It sits behind a strip mall, but the area was well lit and I felt safe. The desk agent was very nice, too. I was pleasantly surprised.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the price seemed fair, around average. The rooms weren’t as clean as I expected, and they could use better cleaning and several repairs. The breakfast buffet was limited too. Still, it’s a good place to lay your head down if that’s what you need. With the Wyndham name, I expected more from the rooms.

There were dirty blankets, no hangers, and a desk with no chair. I found blood on the walls, wet food stains in the microwave, and a pube in the sink. The walls and floors needed basic cleaning too. This was a horrible stay, and I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for any kind of comfort.

I’d stayed at Baymont before as a Rewards member and had a fairly decent experience, so the Thanksgiving weekend stay in 2025 was a real disappointment. The room was dirty, and the shower curtain had mold and old stains. At one point the front desk clerk came into our room without knocking. His sagging pants exposed his underwear, which wasn’t appealing either. This place has fallen to a one-star hotel. I wish I didn’t have to write this, but it’s now far below acceptable.
