Hillcrest Inn & Suites

On 12/23/25, this was the best price I could find, $79, and I was the only guest. We’d already been driving for over eight hours and were worn out, hungry, and ready to rest. Room 131 had a dead AC, and getting moved to room 118 was difficult without packing everything back up and moving. There were plenty of empty rooms, so the exchange shouldn’t have been such a hassle. We did sleep well once settled. The plumbing was a little wonky, but water pressure was good and the AC worked in the new room. There was also a culture clash, and the owners’ English isn’t very good.

The room was clean and fairly priced for this area. Pets are allowed for a small, nonrefundable fee, and there’s Wi-Fi and cable. The front desk staff were pleasant, and it was very quiet around the hotel.

I stayed for two weeks and was extremely satisfied. The family who owns the place worked hard to keep my room clean and were always making improvements around the property. The rooms had been freshly renovated, everything worked as it should, and the rates were the most reasonable in Ozona.

A good, comfortable place for an overnight stop while passing through. The area felt safe, the price was reasonable, and the front office staff were pleasant. The AC worked well, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable.
