Breakfast the next morning gave us a chance to chat with the owners, who were lovely and have exciting plans for the place. My wife and I were passing through on a cross-country bike ride. The room was clean and comfortable even though renovations are underway. We’d definitely stay again if we’re nearby.
We stayed twice, on 4/24/18 and 4/30/18, while traveling through with my wife and our dog, Max. The family running the hotel was VERY friendly and clearly working hard to offer a nice stay at a reasonable price. It’s an older but sturdy property being renovated. Our rooms had new furniture, fresh paint, and even new ceilings, and the beds were awesomely comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms seem likely to be next on the renovation list. Cleanliness matched what I’ve seen at pricier hotels. I expect Arrow Rock Inn will be even better a year from now. It’s pet-friendly, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in the area.
The Kurdle family made me feel like a friend right when I arrived. It’s a family-owned, well-cared-for hotel, and although renovations are still going on, the comfort and accommodations were there. My room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. There’s a small truck stop nearby with a really good little buffet. I’ll be recommending this hotel to friends and family for years. 😊
For the price, the room was incredible, nicer than most economy hotels. I stopped here on my way to Nashville and was greeted by friendly staff. The room was clean, the towels were soft, and there was plenty of hot water for my shower.
We spent two nights here with our granddaughter, and the family who owns the place made us feel so welcome. They even invited us to their BBQ after we checked in on the 4th of July. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.
