Clarion Inn Page - Lake Powell

The room itself was clean and fine. Since the hotel was almost empty, I was surprised when another guest ended up right beside me once more people checked in. The connecting door meant I could hear their conversation pretty clearly. I could hear footsteps overhead too, though it wasn't very late and didn't bother me much. Light sleepers might want to keep that in mind. At check-in, the woman at the desk seemed like she didn't want to be there. I know customer service can be a tough job, but a simple hello would've been nice.

We picked this place because it was just a minute's drive from the Antelope Canyon tour company we were using, and that made the morning very easy. It's also a good spot for visiting Horseshoe Bend. The hotel was reasonably priced and dog friendly, with a $10 nightly pet fee. There wasn't really a late checkout option, so we booked two nights instead. I'd recommend it to people coming for either attraction.

Cookies and lemonade at reception were a nice touch when we arrived. We slept well in the big, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had what we needed. Breakfast had a good range of choices. The common areas had the usual small-town hotel look, and we didn't mind the paper plates in the dining room. We loved the place and thought it was great value, so we'd choose it again.

We'd happily come back. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and the area was quiet. Breakfast was hot and filling, the water pressure and temperature were just right, and the staff were friendly and helpful. All that for a reasonable price.
