Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Page Lake Powell

We stayed one night as a family in room 301 at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Page Lake Powell. The hotel was quiet at night, and the staff were friendly and smiled, so the stay was peaceful overall. Parking was convenient, and the view from the window was beautiful. The small hotel was quiet, and we appreciated that the room didn't smell of cigarettes. It had a TV, refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, iron, and Wi-Fi. Beds were very soft and comfortable, with two pillows each and warm blankets. The air conditioner could also heat the room, though it was quite cold sleeping near the window. The bathroom had plenty of towels, shampoo, shower gel, and lotion, but no toilet brush. Its door squeaked loudly, and the drain seemed blocked, with visible black hairs, which was unpleasant. Breakfast was very basic. Had we known what it was like, we wouldn't have paid and would've gone to a café. It included omelets, fried potatoes, bread, muffins, cereal, waffles, tea, coffee, orange and apple juice, water, yogurt, apples, and oranges. There were no vegetables or meat options.

Little conveniences made this stay stand out for me: sanitizer by the elevators, coffee and juice available all day and night, and flexible hours for the standard hot breakfast. The hotel is spacious and charming from outside, and each room has a patio or balcony. My family and I stayed two nights, 11/30/25 to 12/2/25, in a 3 Queen bed, 600 sf suite with a kitchenette and its own sink. Everything was clean and working, with plenty of bathroom toiletries and coffee supplies in the room. Lahari at the front desk was professional, helpful, and courteous. The location made things easy, with Walmart and several restaurants within walking distance and tourist attractions a short drive away. I usually choose Wyndham hotels on personal trips, and this one exceeded my expectations. I believe it's leaving Wyndham for Choice Hotels in 2026, which I think would be a loss for Wyndham. Either way, I'd stay here again if I return to the area.

Gopi at the front desk was calm and well mannered, and his warm welcome was the best impression I got from the hotel. The room was spacious, but the carpet smelled bad and the room itself didn't smell good either. The sheets and towels were very old and thin from many washes. The pool wasn't heated, though the hot tub was good.

We used this as a base for hiking around Kanab, about an hour's drive each way, and it worked well. Horseshoe Bend is nearby, and Walmart is across the street, handy for restocking supplies. The room was clean and had a great desert view from the patio, and the hotel is right off the highway. Breakfast was decent, with eggs and sausage, then eggs and potatoes on the third day, plus a waffle maker, drinks, and cereal. I'd definitely stay here again.
