The refund ended up being approved, but only after a draining back-and-forth with the property and Booking.com, several follow-ups, and resubmitting all my documentation. At one point they even denied it. The front desk had first approved my early checkout and refund, so the later process was extremely stressful and poorly handled. I checked out after just one night because the room problems left me no choice. I was initially given the wrong room, then moved to one with loud construction overhead, a broken heater, curtains that wouldn't close and left me without privacy, and a broken refrigerator that spoiled my groceries. After I showered, water flooded the bathroom floor because it had only a short curtain, no proper glass door. When I asked to move again the next morning, they said the hotel was full.

The hotel seems fairly new, with things looking well made, and it was one of my better stays during several weeks of travel in the US. Breakfast, on the other hand, had basically no nutritional value. Plastic plates and cutlery, rubbery sausage I couldn't eat, fake scrambled eggs that made me wonder what they were made from, sugary instant oatmeal, and ketchup. I felt no guilt throwing that imitation breakfast in the trash.

The rooms were quite clean and nice, and I enjoyed the free breakfast, especially making my own waffles. But poor service spoiled the stay for me. At the busiest check-in time, there was only one person at the desk and a long queue. They also told us, without even apologizing, that there was no crib or pack n play available, which was hugely inconvenient and potentially unsafe for my infant. I can't bring myself to give the hotel one star because of the rooms. EDIT: Lol, I'm never staying here again. The manager's reply here didn't even pretend to make things right or ask for more details. Big thumbs down. 👎

We had to leave a day early because construction noise was coming from the room next door, maybe from a Sawzall. The desk supervisor eventually offered a small discount, but it wasn't enough. Renovation was underway, and that important detail hadn't been disclosed when we booked two nights. At check-in, we were told the room work was all finished, which turned out not to be true. Page has plenty of other places to stay, so look elsewhere.
