Rodeway Inn at Lake Powell

We saw lots of bad reviews but took a chance, and our stay was great. The staff were amazing, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was good, and we slept really well. Some of the furniture looked old, but for the price you can't beat it. Thanks, guys!

We stayed on January 30th with my parents, spouse, and kids. It wasn't peak season and the hotel had plenty of empty rooms. I specifically asked for three rooms next to each other so I could help care for my elderly parents and young children, but they put us far apart. Several rooms beside ours were vacant, so this wasn't a capacity issue. It was poor service. One key failed three times. I had to keep walking back to the front desk in the cold, and nobody offered to help or seemed concerned. The front desk staff seemed poorly trained. For the price, the facilities were average and the service below average, as other reviews have said. There are much better options for the same money, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The motel is a good fit for a budget stay. My room was quiet, comfortable, clean, and had the essentials, including a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was simple but nice: coffee, tea, apples, instant oatmeal, bread with jam and cream cheese, and a waffle maker for fresh waffles. It's right in Page, with a supermarket nearby and lots of cafes and restaurants, so it's easy to find food. Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon are close, and everything is easy to reach by car. I think it's good value. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and well located for exploring the canyons and other natural sights. I'd recommend it.

For a very cheap hotel, the staff were kind, breakfast was free though limited, and there's a pool in summer. The location is amazing, with downtown Page and everything you'd need within walking distance. Still, our room was filthy. The pillows were yellow, there was dirt on the floor, and nasal discharge all over the walls. The carpet was ripped in several places.
