Meeting Boo 🐈⬛️ was my favorite part. My husband and I loved the gorgeous mansion, and everyone on staff was super friendly. We stayed in the Peacock room, which was beautifully decorated and very clean. It felt comfortable to explore the house and take lots of pictures. Breakfast was delicious, too. We've already talked about coming back with our daughters.

We went to the Christmas Cabernet show, and the local entertainment group put on a fabulous performance. The bar was very good, with great bartenders. Our room was clean, well appointed, and decorated around a dog companion theme. Breakfast was excellent, self-serve, and had a well-rounded range of choices. We'll definitely come back for more.

We spent a weekend night here while attending a nearby wedding, and it was such a treat. The mansion has just 16 rooms, each with its own design, antique furniture, and pictures. Downstairs was a lovely place to unwind with friends, and there was a delicious hot breakfast with plenty of variety. The staff were all welcoming and courteous. The location was handy for downtown Painesville and Newport Harbor, a charming community with a beach. It's a great spot for a weekend escape or midweek adventure, less than an hour from Cleveland and close to Erie, PA.

We were in the Peacock room this past weekend, and both the room and building were amazing. Breakfast was great each morning, and the cat outside was a nice extra for us as cat lovers. The only downside was that we couldn't connect to wifi in the Peacock room. It wasn't a big concern for us, though it could matter to someone who needs internet access. We definitely plan to return.

The front desk women were lovely to talk with and offered helpful ideas for restaurants and sights. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. My wife and I came for an anniversary getaway, and we loved the whole place. The antique furnishings make it feel like stepping back in time. It's a wonderful place to relax and unwind, and we'd definitely recommend it. I'd give more than five stars if I could!
