My app still showed the $55 in added play, but they wouldn’t honor it. The advertised play had expired, and when the cashier checked with the hosts, they refused to do anything. I drove two hours to come play, and I know from dealing with plenty of casino hosts that they can help with things like this. They could have honored what was still showing in my app, but chose not to. I wouldn’t have won anyway, and this is by far the tightest casino I’ve ever played at. Don’t waste your money here. I’d go to Pechanga instead. It’s much nicer, and the hosts and staff try to accommodate people and make patrons who spend money feel appreciated. I’d give this place negative stars if I could.

The band had good energy and the drinks were decent, but that was about all I enjoyed. The air outside smelled of industrial exhaust and strong chemicals, then inside the casino it was like a giant ashtray. Even the non-smoking section was overwhelmed with smoke. I can’t imagine enjoying a meal in it, though the food looked good. We waited around 30 minutes for seats at “Free Bet” blackjack, with lots of others waiting too. When the dealer changed, the table minimum went up. I switched to slots, where many nearby machines seemed dated and had broken buttons. Two I saw didn’t have working “repeat bet” buttons. The bathrooms weren’t great either. After losing $400 on machines that felt extremely tight, we left. Both of us needed showers and had to wash our clothes because everything smelled so smoky. I won’t be back. Pechanga is better in every way.

We left because the smoke was irritating our throats. Even on a weekday in the middle of the day, the casino was smoky. They allow more smoking areas than Pechanga, so most of the place smelled of it. Cafe Pala had good service, though the chicken wasn’t great. The breakfast items were better.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and roomy too. We did find blood on the chaise/sofa, though. I let the staff know, and they changed our room quickly. The restaurants were very good, the pool looked nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had to leave for a wedding, otherwise we would’ve spent time at the pool. I’d definitely come back for a weekend getaway. Absolutely love it!
