Marriott's Desert Springs Villas II

Marriott’s Desert Springs Villas I feels like a desert oasis, with lush lawns, mature palms, colorful flowers, and scenic walking paths. The grounds are spacious and peaceful, with mountain and golf course views, and are a pleasure to explore. The outdoor spaces and pool areas fit naturally into the landscape. There are seven pools spread around the property, so it was easy to find a quieter place and they never felt crowded. Palm trees, lounge chairs, and well-kept decks give the main pools a classic resort feel. There's a good range of choices for swimming, family time, or just relaxing in the sun. The villas are roomy and comfortable, especially for longer stays. One and two bedroom options have full kitchens, separate living and dining areas, a balcony or patio, and large bathrooms with oversized soaking tubs. Some furnishings could be more modern, but the rooms are clean, practical, and comfortable. Large windows and outdoor areas bring in the desert surroundings, making a nice place to unwind after the pool. With its grounds, range of pools, and spacious accommodations, this is a relaxing getaway that feels a bit like home. It works well for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a picturesque setting.

We had a great experience at Desert Villas II. The community was quiet, the rooms were spacious, and there are nine pools, which makes it a good spot for families with kids. Free laundry is available onsite too. The staff were great and, although they couldn't find our reservation at first, they eventually got it sorted out.

The balcony has an awesome view over the golf course, and the villas are comfortable. Inside, there's plenty of space, with a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and separate living and dining areas. Just keep in mind there are no elevators, so getting to a second-floor unit means taking the stairs.

The gym, pools, other facilities, and restaurants were all very nice, but the stay was frustrating. WiFi kept failing, and the cell signal was poor too, so staying connected was difficult. We had to move rooms twice because of the internet and bad odors, which was exhausting and took away from the chance to relax. Reception didn't seem to keep track of message threads. We had to repeat the same problems over and over, and the replies often felt canned and unhelpful. Things only seemed to get addressed after we finally spoke directly with the resort manager, who was helpful and worked on resolving them. For a property managed by Marriott, I expected the communication, room issues, and basic connection to be handled better from the start.
