All Worlds Resorts

The staff were excellent, friendly, courteous, and helpful, and the location is convenient for walking to the main street, shops, and restaurants. The resort seems like it must have been impressive years ago, but now it feels neglected. The yard is overgrown and abandoned, and even basic maintenance seems to be missing. On a Saturday night the place was almost empty. My room was clean, but there was rotten wood, stained walls, a sink spraying water everywhere, and old towels. It wouldn’t take much, just basic repairs and upkeep, to make this place popular again.

We had a good time here over the Fourth of July weekend, and I’d consider staying again. The Maze was clean and fun, and the staff we spoke with were pleasant. The pool was cleaned twice during our stay, though that still wasn’t enough to keep it clean. There were some signs of neglect. Our room was clean but worn, and one shutter slat was missing, so I used a towel to block the gap for the weekend. No housekeeping was offered. A few small improvements would make a big difference.

I was told by phone that I could extend my stay after becoming ill and going to the emergency room, and I also received an email confirming the extension. When I returned from the ER, though, a room service attendant rudely told me I had to leave immediately. I asked to speak with someone to clear things up, but the next staff member couldn’t communicate well and relied on Google Translate. Despite the confirmation, I had to leave, with no compassion for the fact that I’d just been hospitalized after falling ill on the property. The lack of professionalism and empathy was shocking. The property also seems poorly managed, with minimal front desk support. After housekeeping leaves, locals swarm the place and make excessive noise late into the night. I was deeply disappointed by the way I was treated, and I would strongly advise against staying here.

I’d stay here again. Room 505 was basic but clean, the TV and all its channels worked well, and there were plenty of towels. Service was very good and requests got quick responses. Aside from one rude employee, the whole staff was outstanding. A couple of things could be better: the pool area feels a little bare and could use more landscaping and umbrellas, and bedside outlets would be handy for charging, maybe built into the lamps.
