The location is the main thing this hotel has going for it, with shopping nearby and a Walmart basically next door. The price is great, so I’d stay again if I were in the area, but I’d bring all the necessities with me. As an extended-stay hotel, it’s bare-bones. I travel up to 100 times a year and have stayed in plenty of extended-stay places, and this one was interesting, to say the least. It’s a new location that opened after Thanksgiving 2025. The rooms are fairly clean and nice, though I found hair around the tub. There’s space for amenities, but the cabinets are empty. No dishes are provided unless you pay for them, and there’s no shampoo, tissues, hand towels, coffee maker, or ice bucket. You only get one roll of toilet paper, and you will run out. No luggage rack either, so your bag goes on the floor. The blankets are paper-thin. Why offer a kitchenette without basic utensils? The vending machines are limited, there’s no frozen food to cook in your room, and there’s no coffee in the lobby. Bring your food, drinks, and toiletries, or you’ll have to go to the front desk for things the hotel doesn’t provide. The AC runs on a sensor and can shut off in the middle of the night. It only comes back on when it decides to. The doors are paper-thin, and with no carpet anywhere, sound echoes and gets amplified. You hear every door slam. In the morning, when workers head out, doors slam constantly for about 30 minutes. They need foam dampers on the frames to cut the noise. The bed slides around because it’s open underneath. The mattress feels soft but is basic. Everything feels cheap, like it came from an Ikea clearance section.

I brought a lot of my own cookware from my travel bus, and I’m glad I did because this extended-stay place doesn’t provide any. I was here for maybe one or two weeks. Otherwise, everything was phenomenal. The room was so new and clean you could smell the cleanliness in the air. The WiFi worked great on the third floor, and I loved the TVs, tall fridge, and crisp, clean AC. The bathtub seal was clean, with no mold, residue, or mildew smell at all. All the amenities looked brand new, with no stains on the walls or furniture. The mattress, pillows, and blankets were comfortable, and the bed was sealed in a protective cover. It was quiet throughout the day and night, and I got some of my best sleep here. Thank you!

The noise here is unbelievable. I could hear everything, as if the people above me were coming through the ceiling. I lived in a garden apartment in Chicago for years, and this was comparable. I don’t think there’s any insulation, so bring earplugs because you’ll need them. The “suite” has a full kitchen but nothing to use in it, not even disposable items. Honestly, just book an Airbnb. I only stayed because the hotel where my coverage was had sold out.

The hotel is brand new and spotless, so I’m giving it one star for cleanliness alone. The rest of my stay was unpleasant. The mattress was so uncomfortable I could feel the springs, and I had trouble sleeping. At 4 am I asked the front desk for extra pillows and was told they couldn’t help. After calling back several times to complain, they eventually brought one extra pillow. When I said how uncomfortable the beds were, they asked why I hadn’t mentioned it sooner. The AC didn’t work either. I set it to 60, but the room stayed hot and muggy. Basic customer service and professionalism were missing. I hope Corporate addresses these problems.

This is by far the best long-term-stay hotel brand and location. Ginelle is a great manager, and that carries through to the staff. Addy is great, and Stephanie at the front desk is knowledgeable. Robert handles the overnight shift like a well-trained CIA agent, lol. The whole team is well groomed and can handle everything. They offer utensils, wake-up calls, and other things on request. I’ll definitely be back.
