Breakfast was just okay and generic. I expected Hilton to do better, but less expensive hotels offer the exact same selection. The suite’s living room TV was unusable because its settings made the picture larger than the screen, so I couldn’t relax and watch TV there. I would’ve been better off paying less for a regular room. The front desk tried several times to fix it, but couldn’t, and maintenance wasn’t available until Monday for my Saturday night stay. Since I booked through hotels.com, Hilton wouldn’t give me a partial refund. hotels.com tried several times to reach the hotel but couldn’t get them to issue a partial credit, so they offered $25 off my next booking. The accessible room had a few issues that don’t comply with the ADA, mainly for people with gripability issues. Hilton says it automatically removes your Netflix sign-in at checkout, but two days after I left, Netflix still showed me signed in at Hilton. Room coffee supplies weren’t adequate either: enough coffee for four cups, but only two creamers and two sugars. For eating in the room, they put two salt packets and two pepper packets inside the salt and pepper shakers. Disappointing for a Hilton property.

I’ve booked rooms here before, but after yesterday I’ll never stay again or recommend it to anyone. A regular receptionist, an older slim woman and the oldest one there, was very rude to me and my wife and tried to charge us almost $300. She insulted me and lied to my face, saying something different from what she had said earlier. She also tried to overcharge my mother by $100 more than the amount she’d quoted me for the same room. She should be fired for the way she acted.

I found this place after getting exhausted from browsing Google Maps for hotels around SoCal, booked quickly, and got on with my day. My work means I often don’t know where I’ll be staying the next night. I’d never been to Palmdale, and honestly probably, hopefully, won’t come back. But this hotel was great: clean and comfortable, with super nice staff, great breakfast, a suitable gym, and solid laundry services. I wish every hotel I stayed in was this pleasant. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The ladies at the counter were amazing, and I’ll definitely stay here again. My room was spotless, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the walk-in shower was great. Breakfast was pretty good, and the laundry room was great when I did my laundry. There are grills by the pool and lots of seating. Just a really nice place.
