Staybridge Suites Palmdale by IHG

The staff made the whole stay feel welcoming. They were incredibly helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The hotel and room stayed clean and hospitable throughout. Great experience from start to finish, and I’ll definitely stay here again. 10/10!

The front desk woman with red hair made us feel like we were checking into our own home. I wish I’d gotten her name. This was Saturday October 25th around 5pm, so management, please recognize her. For the price and customer service, this is a great stay. There’s ample free parking, a great breakfast, and clean rooms with a kitchenette and comfy bed. The pool closed at 10pm. I wish there were more things to do in palmdale, but we were only there for a birthday. If you need a clean place with a good breakfast, this is nice. 😊

The room has a full kitchen, so you can cook just about anything, within the oven safety rules. Breakfast was well done, with plenty of choices and fountain juices, and Monday through Wednesday they have social evenings with food and drinks. Vanessa at reception was attentive and helpful. The hotel is close to most things, with AV mall five minutes away and lots of restaurants only a couple of minutes by car. The rooms are more classical than modern, but the bed was really comfortable, the pillows soft, and the nights quiet. The TVs are huge!

I’m a big fan of the staybridge brand, but this location didn’t meet my expectations. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t feel like the usual Staybridge experience. The rooms seemed worn, our couch was visibly dirty, and the beds weren’t as comfortable as at other locations. It felt like someone had lightly updated a rundown hotel and put the staybridge logo on it. The decor was nice, rooms were clean, and the breakfast was solid. The social night dinners and free beer make the nightly price feel more than worthwhile, and breakfast was still good, but overall this place missed the mark for me.
