Country Inn Motel

The room had flying bugs in every room and black mold on every window frame. I was told the rate would be $150 or $160 a night, but somehow the bill for two nights came to over $520. It wasn’t worth the surprise pricing. Edit: They also said no other rooms were available for more than two nights, even though the parking lot had maybe four cars in it.

The motel is cute and clearly well cared for, and the staff are incredible. We arrived very late because of my spouse’s surgery at Stanford, but the night employee was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We’ll stay here for every future trip to the area.

I left feeling very unwelcome because the manager was so rude and disrespectful. The hotel also had several problems, including poor maintenance and a lack of basic cleanliness and organization. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, respectful place to stay.

We chose a room with a kitchenette, and it had everything we needed: it was fully stocked and very clean, with a fridge and microwave. The rooms were perfectly clean, with lots of thoughtful touches, and the pool is beautiful. Such a characterful little gem. Our stay was much too short, but it was lovely all around. This will be our go-to hotel in the area next time.
